Please click here for the printable registration form or click register below!

MOM & ME is an excellent opportunity for you and your scout(s) to spend a special overnight campout together. It’s a time to get to know each other in more meaningful ways through outdoor activities that Scouting  provides. Share FUN and excitement as your mind struggles to find the clues and solve the mystery that awaits as you stroll through camp enjoying our activities.

Who can Come: This event is strictly meant for Moms (or appropriate female adult over the age of 21) and their cub scout(s) ONLY—No dads or BSA unregistered siblings allowed! If the accompanying adult is not the parent/legal guardian, a signed permission slip by the parent must accompany the registration form.

When &Where: This year’s event will be May 3-5th, 2019 located at Camp Woodfield (491 Woodfield Scout Trail, Asheboro NC 27203). Mothers and scout(s) may check in on Friday May 3rd starting at 5:00pm. Directions are provided at www.bsaonsc.org/woodfield.html

Check-In: Each couple will be required to check-in at the HQ building before entering camp. If you wish to camp on Friday, check-in will start at 5:00pm. If you wish to come on Saturday morning, check-in will be from 7:00am—9:00am. Scouts and their parents will be assigned a campsite  at check-in. There will be a volunteer at your campsite to help with your campsite setup.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, & supper will be provided on Saturday. Breakfast on Sunday will also be included. If you are camping on Friday evening, you will need to make plans for an in town supper or in campsite meal. If you have any specific food allergies, please plan to bring your own food. We will not be able to accommodate specific food orders. Meal schedule will be included in a welcome letter that will be sent one week prior to event.

Lodging: Platform tents are available if needed. Platform tents are only in certain campsites. If you need a platform tent, you may not be located with other moms from your Pack. We recommend you work with your cubmaster to loan you a tent if you wish to camp with others from your own Pack. Please mark this request on the registration form. Note: when staying in tents, no youth will stay in the tent of an adult other than his own legal parent or guardian. No exceptions. Access to running water in bathrooms & showers will be available.

Activities: Throughout the day, scouts and parents will participate in archery, bb shooting, crafts, games, fishing, hiking, nature, skits and a Saturday night campfire. If you have your own fishing poles, please bring them as our supply is limited. Bait will be provided for the event. All events are designed for MOTHER/SCOUT participation.
