Cherokee District Pinewood Derby

General Info: Come out and enjoy a day of racing, fun and a great Scouting experience!

Where: Mission First, 1520 S. Scales Street, Reidsville, North Carolina

What to Bring? Each pack can bring up to 6 cars, one for each Cub Scout den plus one for Best in Show.

Cost: Early registration will be $4 per person if registered individually/$17 per pack registered as a group.
Regular Registration will be $5 per person individually/$20 if registered as a group.

Registration can be completed in person at the ONSC office in Greensboro or online.

Early Registration deadline is Friday, April 7th at 12:00 P.M.
Final Registration Deadline is Friday, April 21st at 12:00 P.M.
Hot dogs and chips will be available for purchase as well.

Schedule:

The following schedule will be used for the 2017 district race.  If a category finishes early, racing for the next group may begin early; however, any car entered by the end of the printed registration time will be allowed to race.

Best in Show

Registration 12:00 pm – 1:00pm

Judging 1:00 – 1:30pm

 

Tiger Cubs

Registration 12:00 – 12:30pm

Racing 12:30 – 1:15pm

 

Wolf Cubs

Registration 12:30 – 1:00pm

Racing 1:15 – 2:00pm

 

Bear Cubs

Registration 1:15 – 1:45pm

Racing 2:00 – 2:45pm

 

Webelos Scouts

Registration 2:00 – 2:30pm

Racing 2:45 – 3:30pm

 

Arrow of Light Scouts

Registration 2:45 – 3:15pm

Racing 3:30 – 4:15pm

 

District Championship

Cars must have previously registered in a Den race

Racing 4:15 – 4:45 

Cost
$5.00 per Per individual if not registering as a pack
$20.00 per Per Whole Pack
Early Discount
Before 4/8/2017 a discount of $1.00 will apply to all Per individual if not registering as a pack Registrants.
Before 4/8/2017 a discount of $3.00 will apply to all Per Whole Pack Registrants.
Cancellation Policy
Please be advised refunds on Council, District, or OA Events and Activities will be made only if an adult calls 10 days before the event to the Council Office to cancel that registration. The only exception to the policy will be the case of illness, accident and/or death in the family and that cancellation must be called in the day before the event. Please note, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged on all refunds granted.
