2017 Rangemaster’s Sporting Clay
June 10th & December 23rd, 2017

Rangemaster’s Sporting Clays is hosted by the ONSC Shooting Sports Program to highlight the course to fellow Scouters and friends. Help Spread the word. Participation is NOT limited to Scouting members.

Each 4-person team will shoot 75 rounds each on our 10 Stand ½ mile course. 12 & 20-gauge ammo will be provided. No personal ammo allowed on ONSC course. Participants must provide their own shotgun, eye & ear protection. Golf carts are only permitted for handicap shooters.

Where: Cherokee Scout Reservation (3296 Boy Scout Camp Rd, Yanceyville NC)

Who may attend? Events are open to Adults and youth 13 years old or older that are either currently a range officer with the council or one of their guests (must have Shotgun Merit Badge & have passed the NC Hunters Safety Course). Youth shooters must team shoot with a parent or guardian. No youth only teams or entries will be allowed.

Cost: $60 per shooter (Includes ammo & clays)

Special Instructions: Registration Closes 2 weeks prior to each shoot date

Check In will begin @ 11:30am at the Clay Course Shelter across from Camp entrance. Parking allowed in Clay Course lot with overflow parking in the main camp parking lot.

Shooters orientation will begin @ 12:00, followed by a shotgun start on the clays course.

Please be advised refunds on Council, District, or OA Events and Activities will be made only if an adult call 10 day before the event to the Council Office to cancel that registration. The only exception to the policy will be the case of illness, accident and/or death in the family and that cancellation must be called in the day before the event.  Please note, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged on all refunds granted.
