Come one, come all. Join the Cub Scout Adventure Celebration.
What is a Pow Wow?
It’s an action-packed workshop for all adults who are interested in experiencing hands-on approach to crafts, skits, songs, program advancement ideas, special event planning, Flag ceremonies, blue & gold banquets, the do’s and don’ts of posting things online. There will be a midway with lots of ideas, demonstrations and even a mini Scout Shop open will new material & uniform needs. 
By investing your time and attending this celebration of Cub Scouting you will gain a better knowledge of how the Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos programs can help your scout grow. All through face to face, hands on experiences presented by instructors from across the region who will help you enhance your ability to develop and support a fun-filled program.
Come dressed in your uniform or come as your favorite circus character or animal for chance to win prize.
Cost: $15.00 per person, Includes printed materials, patch, box lunch (sandwich, cookie and drink)

Please be advised refunds on Council, District, or OA Events and Activities will be made only if an adult calls 10 days before the event to the Council Office or email to cancel that registration. The only exception to the policy will be the case of illness, accident and/or death in the family and that cancellation must be called in the day before the event. Please note, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged on all refunds granted.

  • Learn about the history of the Webelos Program
  • Discover the importance of planning a quality program to deliver for 4th and 5th grade Scouts
  • Experience elements of these programs through hands-on experiences
  • Learn how to lead songs, cheers and skits for Cub Scouts
  • Participate in a variety of songs, cheers and skits to understand how to adapt them into the Cub Program
  • Discover the resources available to locate songs, cheers and skits
  • Experience the excitement of celebrating Cub Scout’s birthday
  • Discover how to plan a fun-filled birthday party for your unit
  • Learn how “a Scout is reverent” can become a meaningful, hands-on experience for your Cub Scouts
  • Learn what is needed to keep a healthy pack financially, budgets, etc.
  • Discover the resources available to help
  • This is the first part of the three-part train-the trainer continuum in the Boy Scouts of America
  • Introduces teaching techniques and skills designed to help all scouters, present effective training.
  • Learn the BSA’s training techniques, and help freshen up the skills of current BSA trainers.
