NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING
July 15th - 20th, 2018 @ Woodfield Scout Preservation

The National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course was developed by the Boy Scouts of America to provide local councils with a standardized advanced training course for the youth leadership of its Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Units.  This intensive week-long course is designed to parallel and complement the training that adult leaders receive in Woodbadge. Experience has shown that National Youth Leadership Training makes a positive difference in the lives of its graduates and in the operation of the units they lead.

Youth must be age 13 – 20 and, if Boy Scouts,  First Class Rank by May 1st, 2018; and must have completed the 7th Grade during or before the 2017-2018 School Year.  Youth with some unit leadership experience and of high maturity are especially recommended.
