Scouting For Food

This Saturday is the day to put out door hangers for Scouting For Food.  If you need Scouting for Food door hangers, they are available at the Council Office.  Hangers will also be available on Saturday at the Scout Shop if you run out!   Don't forget where you put your door hangers, so you can be sure to go back next Saturday to pick up food. Thank you to all of the Units that participate in Scouting For Food and for making a difference in your community!

Cub Scout Summer Resident Camp!

Cub Scouts - Get excited about coming to Cub World for an adventure to remember! SAFARI TREK 2018 Summer Camp is waiting for you!!

This year, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light Cub Scouts are invited to participate in their own Safari Adventure.

Wolves, Bears and their adult leaders will arrive WITH THEIR PACKS on Sunday of each session.  Their adventures will run through Tuesday, with a closing celebration at dinner and departure at 6:00PM. Wolves and Bears will experience exciting, fun activities that are unique to summer camp...activities that they will only do during camp. Wolves will have a program designed to meet the needs of Wolf Scouts and Bears will have a separate program designed for them. What might some of these  exciting experiences be?  Well...think about an amazing water slide, a bouldering wall, a special fishing program, safari geocaching and other safari fun-related adventures.

Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts will complete their adventures throughout the week, with their closing campfire and departure on Wednesday night.

Webelos and Arrow of Light programs at camp are the best way to prepare our Cub Scouts for Boy Scouting. These programs include earning adventure pins as well as being able to have fun in the outdoors. Arrow of Light Scouts will experience a unique program with a final campfire ceremony that only happens during summer camp.
