Encourage others to grow their family through Scouting!

Thank you to the many volunteers that work to promote family Scouting.  We are excited about the new youth and volunteer leaders we will serve this fall!   Today’s world moves at a faster and more complicated pace than ever before. As parents and guardians, we are committed to ensuring our children have every opportunity to develop in a healthy environment; strive to reach their goals and dreams; and become self-confident, contributing adults. We believe the family-focused programs of the Boy Scouts of America (serving boys and girls ages 5 to 20 years) can help grow families closer together through fun, adventure, and life-changing opportunities.

Help get the Scouting message out. Please take a few minutes to watch this video featuring four Scouting families from the Old North State Council and share it with families you know.  Go to our facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/ONSCBSA/ , find the video, and click share.   Spread the word about what family Scouting has to offer!

2018 Popcorn Sale

I wanted to send out a friendly last minute reminder that Show N Sell Orders are due this Friday, September 7th by midnight.  You will need to sign into the Popcorn System at scouting.trails-end.com.  If you are brand new to the sale this year for your Unit, then I will need to set you up in the Popcorn System as a user.  Please send me an email with your full name, Unit # and District, and phone number.  If you are a returning user and need help logging back in for this year, then please reach out to me an and I will help you get back into the Popcorn System.

It’s pretty easy to place a Show N Sell order.  Once you log into the Popcorn System you’ll see a row of categories in the middle of the page.  You would click “Popcorn Orders”.  Click New Order and select the correct order date “September Order” and then you will be able to order the amount of cases you would like of each item.  You then click the submit button.  It seems that the popcorn system works better if you are running it on Firefox or Chrome web browsers.

If you have any questions on logging into the popcorn system, placing your Show N Sell order, or the sale in general, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Remember, popcorn materials and resources are available on the council website at http://www.bsaonsc.org/popcorn.html
