Volunteering to help our community after the storm passes through the Triad:

  • Thank you to all that have contacted us wanting to do a “Good Turn” and be part of clean-up and community service efforts post-Hurricane Florence.
  • Once the storm(s) passes through the Triad, we will send Council-wide communication (email and Facebook) with opportunities for your Scouting unit to serve, if you are interested/able.
  • At the present time, it is too early to determine what areas of our community the storm will directly impact and what communities/organizations will need support.
  • The American Red Cross website will be a good place to look for updates in the days ahead.

Thank you for your commitment to the positive development of Scouts in your local unit and our Council.

Stay safe in the days ahead.

Yours in Scouting service,

Ed Martin | Scout Executive/CEO
