Scout Me In!

Past Council President Bill Goebel shares his excitement about the new Scout Me In! campaign and the expansion of our Family Scouting program.

The BSA’s “Scout Me In” campaign is defined as:

  • A call to action for all youth (boys and girls). Scout Me In= Count Me In for Scouting!
  • A call for togetherness for all families
  • A call for celebration for all of Scouting

Do you have Scouts looking for community service hours?

Scouts and Scouters:

An organization will donate bikes to several schools in Guilford County as part of the Bikes for Kids program. The Guilford County Schools administration is asking partners like Scouting to provide volunteers (teenage Scouts, parents, and adult leaders) that can help assemble bikes on Dec. 5, 6, 7 and 8. The goal is to assemble bikes and distribute them to students in mid-December before the holiday break. Guilford County Schools administration will provide instructions, tools, space to assemble, and storage of the bikes.

Click here to sign-up as a volunteer for this project (and earn community service hours as well!). More information (including location of the bike assembly) on this project will be shared with volunteers after they sign-up.

Thank you for your consideration!
