The Safety of our Scouts, leaders, and families is our top priority

In line with the recommendations from Governor Cooper, all events sponsored by the Old North State Council, where 100 people or more would gather, are cancelled until further notice. This includes district and lodge events. We will communicate with you in the future with plans to reschedule. All packs, troops, crews, and ships should also cancel their activities where 100 people or more will gather. Under the guidance of the unit committee, and in consultation with their charter partner, we encourage units to be creative in how they continue to safely offer the Scouting program to our Scouts and families. Units might consider more den and patrol-oriented activities.
