Virtual Mom & Me Campout a HUGE hit!

Staying connected while social distancing

The Virtual Mom & Me Campout did that and more!

61 Scout families had a blast starting last Friday all the way up to the closing campfire Saturday night.

Moms and Scouts participated in fishing, crafts, campfires and smores, all while spending time together at home and in the backyard.
Our Scouts created mummies, ancient jewelry, mummy cats, and played great games from ancient times.

Much thanks to Mom & Me Chair Jaime Swicegood and staff, especially, Georgia Taylor, Melody Rose,
Janelle Johnson, Brandon Hyde and Troop 1200 for delivering the promise!

We hope everybody can join us for our next in-person Mom & Me at Woodfield Scout Preservation April 30 - May 2, 2021

  • Make reservations online as before. More than one group can be present at the same time at Woodfield if reserving separate activity areas. However, only one group will reserve at one time at both Hagan and Hemric.
