Space is available to camp in accordance with state COVID-19 guidelines but registrations have to close to comply with pre-camp survey requirements. No registration after July 7. Voluntary Recall of the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity pins

The Boy Scouts of America today announced a voluntary recall of Cub Scout Outdoor Activity pins
that depict a gold animal paw painted on a blue background sold between April 2016 and January 2020.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the affected pins.
The recall was prompted by indications of possible problems found by a third-party quality control company hired by the BSA to test all products

All Camps are Open!
Please follow applicable state guidelines for outdoor gatherings and overnight camping

  • Cherokee, Woodfield, Hagan, and Hemric are open for weekend camping for groups of 25 or less.
    Scouts BSA units who wish to host their own week-long summer camp adventure at Cherokee may have groups larger than 25 

  • Scouts BSA troop members and Venturers only at Hemric due to BSA safety regulations

  • Make reservations online as before. Visit www.csr.camp for special summer program opportunities

  • More than one group can be present at the same time at Cherokee and Woodfield if reserving separate activity areas. However, Hagan and Hemric can only support one group at a time
