OA Virtual Induction December 4-5

Due to attendance limitations for our in-person Inductions weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation, this year we are offering a virtual option for Induction into the Order of the Arrow.

This event will take place December 4-5, beginning around 8:00 pm Friday night and concluding around 8:00 pm Saturday night. The format will be a combination of pre-recorded videos and live videoconferencing with Lodge Leadership, Elangomats, and other candidates participating in virtual inductions.

For the service component, candidates can choose to be part of an organized small group service project (still in keeping with COVID-19 mitigation strategies) or to organize their own project. To see more information and to register, visit our website

ONSC Communications Changes Coming Soon

We will soon be unveiling new ways to transmit information faster and across multiple platforms (text, email, etc).
The site www.bsaonsc.org will have a different look - and be more static.
Information that changes frequently will be transmitted by a progressive web application from a company called InspireHub.

E-newsletters like these will come from this company.

View the InspireHub introduction here

How will this affect you?

Boy Scouts of America Safety Moment:  The 4-1-1 on Incident Reporting Policies

Timely and complete incident reporting provides the BSA with an opportunity for analysis of incidents that occur and promotes continuous improvement of our programs.
In our experience, the sooner a clear, concise, and complete incident report is made, the sooner that an appropriate response to the incident can occur.
