Akela District Virtual Day Camp

Yee-haw! Our Day Camp team has put together three fun and engaging days of programs. Get ready to grab your electronic device this summer for some virtual Cub Scout camp fun! Even though the camp is virtual, it is also intended to be a chance for the Scouts to get up, create things, get moving, and do activities. Each day will consist of an opening, guest speaker, craft, science/STEM activity, closing, and skits/songs/jokes!

Where: At  the comfort of your very own home. Youth from all Districts are welcome to register and participate.

Once registered we will send you the Zoom joining link for each day of the camp.
Theme: Down on the Farm

Cost: $35 per Scout. Registration includes a patch and the Scouts’ tote bag of goodies needed to participate in all activities. Patches will be mailed out after the event. You may purchase additional patches for $5 each.

You will pick up your tote bag at either Woodfield Scout Preservation (491 Woodfield Scout Trail, Asheboro) or the Scout Office (1405 Westover Terrace, Greensboro) on Saturday, August 1 between 4:00-6:00pm.

Please mark in your registration form where you will be going to pick up your tote bag.
Registration: June 22 – July 22 (All registrations must be received by end of day on the 22nd to guarantee your tote bag)

Please be advised refunds on Council, District, or OA Events and Activities will be made only if an adult calls 10 days before the event to the Council Office to cancel that registration. The only exception to the policy will be the case of illness, accident and/or death in the family and that cancellation must be called in the day before the event.  Please note, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged on all refunds granted.
