FREE Videoconferencing Options to use to host exciting Scouting Programs, Meetings, and Activities!

Each of the options below has a paid option. We are highlighting features of the free tier.

  • Google Hangouts: Easy to use, no time limit, allows up to 10 participants
  • Zoom: Great features, 40-minute time limit, allows up to 100 participants
  • Skype: Good stability, four-hour time limit, allows up to 50 participants
  • UberConference: Excellent video quality, 45-minute time limit, allows up to 10 participants

Good Turns during the coronavirus: Acts of Scouting service you can do from home

With schools closed and many Scouting events on pause, how do you continue to “Do a Good Turn Daily”? By remembering that acts of Scouting service don’t have to stop because you’re at home practicing social distancing. Read more here.

Mom & Me Campout - Postponed to June 5-7

The annual MOM & ME campout is an excellent opportunity for moms and their scout(s) to have a special experience together. It’s a time to get to know each other in meaningful ways through outdoor activities that only Scouting can provide. Share FUN and excitement as you search for clues and solve the mystery that awaits as you stroll through camp enjoying the awesome activities.

This is a very popular camping opportunity. JUST UNDER 100 SPOTS ARE LEFT, SO SIGN UP FAST! Registration will be closed when full regardless of date!

BSA/NRA Basic & Instructor Training

This three-day (24hour) instructor development workshop includes; NRA Basic Rifle, NRA Basic Instructor Training, NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course and all of the necessary NRA student/instructor guides, as well as guns and ammo. This workshop is designed to develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, & attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Rifle Course and will be taught by a team of NRA Training Counselors and Instructors. There is gun handling, shooting, and a written exam that needs to be passed to receive NRA completion credentials.

The Scout Shop will be closed for browsing until April 1st, 2020

Please email us your orders and the best phone number to reach you on. We will fill your order Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and call you for payment by phone. At that time we will set up a pick up time, please honor that time, as it is being made to stagger the number of customers that are in the lobby of the council.
